Lacey's Trip to Foster Care

From her transporter. "She is the sweetest dog in the world and is going to make a great companion for some lucky family." She is SMALL. Pocket setter. She has a great personality tho, very laid back, submissive. She is birdy, birdy, birdy. Loves to be outside and has a nice point. She is a lap dog cuddle bug, very affectionate and seems like a really well adjusted dog." Don't let this happy face fool you. Lacey has had a hard life. She was found 2 years ago, left behind by a hunting party one day, just about starved to death. She was turned in to the shelter, where she was adopted.
Could this smile be hiding past pain. Probably. Her adoptive family had six kids that weren't necessarily kind to her, of course there is no way to know for sure of abuse, but she is very cautious of kids when approaching her. Her diet was table scraps and her exercise came tied to a leash. No vetting was ever done, except for spaying.

Now she enjoys a warm bed and a loving touch of comfort. You can help her continue this. She is a loving dog who needs a loving family.
